West Algarve apartment rental details

Apartment Concha
Apartment Concha is a ground floor, two bedroom apartment, situated in the heart of the lively Lagos Marina area, only a few minutes walk from the wonderful beach of Meia Praia. Take a five minute walk to the town centre of Lagos, amble along the bustling Marina quay side with its shops, restaurants and bars and gaze at the yachts moored at the pontoons. Crossing the “opening” Marina Bridge will take you onto the Avenida dos Descobrimentos and into the heart of the old town, where there are many more shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. The golf courses at Palmares and Boavista Golf Resort are within five to ten minutes drive and the courses at Penina to the east and Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort to the west are about 25 minutes drive away.

Apartment Concha is a nicely furnished apartment: the living/dining room has a large balcony which has views of the palm garden . Outside dining furniture for six people and two loungers are provided on the balcony. There is one double bedroom and one twin bedded room, both with large wardrobes providing ample hanging space. The apartment has the added facility of air conditioning with a heating function making it an ideal winter base. There is one bathroom en suite with the double bedroom and a separate shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. The living/dining room has two large sofas, where one converts to a sofa bed for a 5th person if needed, coffee table, satellite TV (limited channels – BBC 1, ITV), sideboard and dining table to seat six. The apartment comes with an allocated underground car parking space accessed from the Meia Praia road. Once parked, there is lift to all floors. Complimentary swimming pool access at the nearby Marina Club Suite Hotel is available with this apartment. Use of the facilities at the adjoining health club is payable locally. There is also a playground for children in the near vicinity.

The cosmopolitan town of Lagos, which many believe to be the best on the Algarve, is on your doorstep. The Marina dominates the river as it opens into the sea and you can choose activities such as deep sea fishing, a dolphin seafari trip and yacht hire. Lagos is an historic town with some city walls still standing after the earthquake of 1755 and there are several museums and churches worth a visit. This is a working Portuguese town with markets, shops and plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The fabulous west coast beaches, where the surfing is renowned, are only 30 minutes drive away and the Monchique hills and the historic old capital of the Algarve, Silves, is an equal distance the other way. As Apartment Concha is so centrally situated, a car is not essential for your holiday enjoyment but to gain an appreciation of just what the Western Algarve can offer, a car is recommended.
